Telemed to India helps international patients reach the right specialist in India, starting with a live video consultation before any decision to travel. We exist because too many people make a life-changing choice about treatment abroad on the strength of a brochure. We think the doctor's conversation should come first.
What we believe
Deciding to travel to another country for treatment is one of the hardest decisions a family makes, and it is usually made with too little information: a price list, a few emails with a coordinator, and a leap of faith. We built this service around a simple conviction: you should be able to speak to the specialist who would actually treat you, and hear their honest view of your case, before you commit to anything.
That belief shapes everything here. It is why the teleconsultation, not the hospital brochure, is the first step. It is why we tell you the consultant's name and credentials before you talk. And it is why a specialist telling you not to travel, because your condition can be managed at home, is a perfectly good outcome for us.
How we work
- You send your reports and we understand your case.
- We match you to the consultant and hospital whose experience fits your diagnosis.
- You meet the specialist on video, ask everything, and receive an opinion in writing.
- You decide freely. If you travel, we help with the visa, the journey and the arrival. If you do not, that is fine, and it has cost you nothing.
What we do
Telemed to India promotes the services of a group of accredited Indian hospitals to patients outside India, and helps those patients reach the right specialist. We are not a hospital and we do not practise medicine: your treatment is delivered by the hospital and its consultants, and every clinical decision is theirs and yours.
Our work is funded by the partner hospitals whose services we promote, not by patients. You are not charged at any stage, and the estimate you receive is the hospital's own pricing, with nothing added by us. We would rather you were told honestly to stay home than travel for treatment you do not need.
Clinical oversight
Cancer content on this site is kept under the oversight of Dr. Jyoti Anand, Additional Director, Medical Oncology at Fortis Hospital, Noida. Fortis is one of our partner hospitals, so the oncologist standing behind what you read is a doctor who treats these cancers every week, not a writer working from a search engine.
Specialties outside oncology are being brought under named specialist oversight in the same way. Where a page does not yet carry a named reviewer, it does not claim one — we would rather show you an honest gap than a seal that means nothing.
Who we help
We work with patients travelling to India from across Africa, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda; from Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan; and from the Pacific and the Indian Ocean.
